Ufa Airport started to use an Automated Passenger Access Control system
Ufa International airport is the first airport in Russia that is implementing the software product that was created in our country.
The module of "Asteros. Automated Passenger Access Control system"* is an additional functionality of the universal registration system" Asteros Contact Air "and currently it has no analogues in the Russian software market for airports.
The implemented system allows to prevent many scenarios of unlawful interference acts in the everyday activities of the airport and airlines. Its main task is to identify potentially dangerous individuals wanted by security agencies. In addition, automated passenger access control system allows to track passenger’s movement route inside the airport. Today the system is implemented and used for access to the sectors A and C, operation of the automated passengers access control system in the secure zone of the airport will start on 1st of June 2016.
A key step in the implementation of the program was the consolidation of core technology and subsystems of Ufa airport in a single circuit, allowing the complex to operate all the necessary data for making management decisions on safety of the airport.

"Asteros Contact Avia" - the industry solution for airports and handling companies created with the support of the innovation Fund "SKOLKOVO", is a generic interface registration system of passengers and baggage, controls the exit of passengers at the boarding gates, as well as a number of services for the collection of various operational information needed for effective management of their own resources. The product allows to register passengers and their baggage for all flights at any check-in counter, implementing the principle of common check-in procedure.
